the Change

honestly i don't know whether to put this in this blog or my personal one. because it is related to life after marriage, but at the same time, it feels a bit personal.

anyway, i received an sms from one of my younger sister around 4am last night (morning actually). the sms kinda put tears in my eyes. i understand how she feels. i used to feel the same way she felt. when your siblings started to get married one by one, u'll feel kinda empty. the family is no longer together like before, we no longer go everywhere in the same car, no more eat out together as often as we used to and it's no longer easy to gather everyone together to just talk and laugh like we used to. it's true that even before any of us gets married, we all live separately from each other. boarding school, then university life..i acknowledge that i always have to stay far away from my family because of education. but we always gather together during holidays and we always have our family outing together. eventho bapak travels a lot, he will still make time for us..for the family..those times were wonderful and fun! i miss those time sooo much!

now that i'm married, i'm staying with my in-laws while we look for our own place to stay. it's been two months now, but honestly, there were still times when i feel like a stranger in the house. they were so nice and loving, but maybe because all this while i've been staying either on my own with friends or with my own sister or family..it feels weird to stay with another family. i never had any homesick before..maybe there were, twice actually..that was when i'm studying in uitm, renting in sek 7. i felt homesick because i didn't get to go back for 2 months and had to stay there alone while my housemates went back to their families.

but now, i am really feeling it. missing every single one of my family..i miss spending time with them...i miss my family..i'm still getting used to this new life..but honestly, i can't help to feel homesick, missing my mum's cooking and spending time with my bapak, mak, atun, yana, mal, abg zul and izz. i'm planning to have a family trip somewhere..go holiday like we used to.

i really miss everyone..tho i see them every now and then..it's not the same..

there's one more that is my ultimate favorite..it's personal, and i love looking at it everyday..it's a personalized photo frame from one of my best friend..i love it so much & i appreciate the extra effort to personalized it..thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! :)

oh, ang pow is of course a fav to..but that does not fall under the definition of gift. but still..i love it!! :) and the most important gift is actually the physical presence of those u really care and love..that one, is priceless.. :)

Videography

i've been married for a little more than 2 months now. just recently i was told that the person who did the videography for my wedding in Perak has emerged as champion for MUFORS competition. MUFORS stands for Malaysian United For Road Safety if i'm not mistaken. i didn't get the chance to look at the video that won the competition, but from my videography, i know that this person is really good at it. my videographer is Mahsyar, a UTP student under UTP MedTech Club. yup, he's still a student. but he's reaaallyy good!! So, congrats Mahsyar for winning the competition! u surely deserve it!! :)

i used to have a personal blog, "awanituputih.blogspot", but i've officially closed the blog because i think the blog is a reflection of a part of my life which i would prefer to be kept aside as memories.

but since sometimes i love to write for no obvious reason, i've opened up a new personal blog

House Hunting

Now tgh in house hunting mode. cume x sure lagi nak beli or sewa je dulu. Sumpah rumah skang semua over priced. Tapi yg peliknye, ada jugak org yg mampu beli. Mana derang dapat duit beli rumah million2 ek? Confius tul!

Anyway, dah banyak gile dah rumah yg tgk dan sgt suke. but yg gambar kat atas tu paling suke! sangat! tu kire category condo yg disukai la. sebenarnye ada yg lagi suka, tapi yg lain tu mcm tersangatlah mahal. so, better sedar diri dan jgn berangan over2 sgt. cukup la berangan nak yg masih dlm kategory mampu dimiliki walaupon akan kesempitan wang. huhu.

cuma sekarang ni kalau boleh still nk landed property. bukan la nk kata condo or apartment tu tergantung ke ape. cuma kalau boleh nak rumah yg ada tanah. sekarang berdua x pelah kalau nak dok rumah tinggi2 pon, but dah ada anak nanti, better rumah bawah..senang dia nak main and berkawan. banyak reason sebenarnye nak rumah bertanah. yg paling obvious is because harga landed property makin naik and dah mkin kurang new development yg mampu dimiliki. asyik buat banglo mewah je. ape ingat semua org skang ni mewah sgt ke?

tak pe..kite carik slow2..buat masa ni, bersyukur dengan apa yg ada. jangan tamak. :)

Finally video reception yg kat concorde da dapat..at last dapat la tgk semua performances and what happened that day..hari tu mmg x sempat nk tgk performances lansung..mana taknye, kn g semua meja jpa semua org..so mcm x sempat lansung nk enjoy the performances..tp happy sebb semua org yg pegi kata best..the intention was to have it different..not like a normal malay wedding..nk yg relax and for everyone to enjoy..and indeed it was!! :)

We had the traditional ceremony on my side dekat perak..with the pelamin, baju melayu semua tu..so for reception we had a modern one..more for the family and guests to enjoy..

Everyone's happy..alhamdulillah..me and hubster love all the ceremonies..all were beyond our expectation! So thank u to everyone who has made it possible..thank u sooo much esp to our beloved families and friends..I love u guys sooo much! :)

my sunday

it's monday again! malas gile nak bekerja hari ni, tp kena berusaha tuk bersemangat jugak!

yesterday was a very2 fun day..it started off a bit slow, made breakfast for the whole family and did the normal house chores..in the afternoon, mommy organised a business talk at home and invited quite a few people to attend it..so, we helped out with the food, set the food counter and clean the house a bit..when the talk started, me and hubster went out for lunch..it was 3.15pm by the time we went out..went for lunch, and shop a bit (groceries)..on our way back, dod called and we decided to go out since the talk hasn't finish yet.

dod picked us up at home and we went to the curve. the initial plan was to catch a movie and then go for karaoke or some light titbits. but since there was no good movie at that time (i wanted to watch yogi bear, but both of the guys said that one we can just buy a dvd, frust jap) so we decided to go bowling instead. yay!!! :) i'm all smile for that even though we haven't played for sssoooooo long.

played two games, i won one game with the score of 121. well, not so bad considering that we haven't played for so long. hubster injured his finger while playing (cian dia). hmm...i miss the days when we (friends) went bowling almost everyday..that was fun! :)

then off to grab some food @ Bubba Gum..i always love the food and drinks there..esp the drinks..i call the place, "tempat air sedap"..those people who are close to me know this! :) so, they'll know where i'm referring when i say it. after we fill our tummy with lots and lots of shrims, we head to red box for some hardcore karaoke. it was awesome!!! that was the longest karaoke session i ever had..seriously! but it was sooo much fun! lupe plak, i honestly didn't know that red box had a huge variety of buffet that comes together with the price of the room. yelah, all this while just pegi karok kat tempat2 biasa je. if i knew that, i wouldn't drag the guys to bubba..hehehe..sorry hubster & dod! :)

all in all, we really enjoyed ourselves yesterday..it was a fun day with lots of fun activities.. :)

a great way to end the 4 days break. :)

dah lama x pegi open house chinese new year and finally this year dapat jugak pegi. but since x sempat nk g buat cheongsam yg sopan aritu, so pkai jeans jelah..mcm klakar plak chinese new year nye open house, tp tuan rumah terpaksa amik caterer melayu sbb yg chinese semua cuti..hehehe..but in a way, at least kita pon x la risau nk mkn..cuma cm x best sbb ingt dpt mkn chinese food..anyway, thanx hooi woon for inviting us to your beautiful and super huge house!i love your cheongsam sooo much!! tp sedih tul, sbb jiehun le (sudah kahwin), so, x dpt angpau..x pe, claim double from hubster..hehehe :)

after open house straight pegi muar..first time seh gi muar! kampung hubster..cantik rumah arwah nenek..mlm pegi jln2 kat tanjung (ke tanjong ek?) with hubster and mat..thanx mat bwk ktorg jln2 kat muar! hehe :)

sooo happy dpt pegi muar and get to know my other half's family..

but sedih sket sbb x dpt join my family pegi holiday kat penang.. (ye, mmg tu kampung sy, tp ni pegi bercuti, dok hotel, jln2..lain tau!) and x dpt celebrate mak ngn bapak nye 27th anniversary :( dapat call and wish je..owh, tiba2 homesick!

3rd february - happy 27th anniversary to my beloved parents..i love u soo much and there`s no word could describe how much i love mak and bapak!!! :)

and, happy 27th birthday abang azizul!! take good care of my lovely sister and the cute lil izz! :)

why??

why is it when a girl gets married, everyone around her seems to have the same assumption that she can no longer go out and have fun with friends..why?? does a girl's life came to an end when she gets married?no right? so why the assumption??

but that is not the case for a guy. when a married man went out with his friends, and he suddenly came to his senses that he's married and he needs to go back early, his friends will say "chill man, are u afraid of ur wife?"

if married man can go out and have fun with friends just like when he's still single, why can the same be for married woman? and why does people have to treat different gender differently? if the husband is ok letting his wife go out with friends, why does it have to be such a big deal to others? i thought it's the husband's permission that count??

this is just me rambling..i'm sick of people saying "she's married, da x bleh nk ajak kuar lepak2 lagi dah" know that when a girl gets married, her life doesn't come to an end..it just turn to be more beautiful that it ever was!!
