The Mark

last saturday, we've passed our 6 months mark. we don't usually count or celebrate monthsary..dari time couple dulu pon mmg x pernah take note of monthsary because to us the anniversary is what matters. (disclaimer: i don't have anything against those who celebrate or count their monthsary).

but this time, i feel that it is important for us to take note of our 6 month life sharing as husband and wife. it's halfway to our marriage anniversary!! yay!! :) like usual, we didn't have any special celebration..but that night we went our with my family for a family dinner, on me! :) thre's nothing much in ipoh, so we went to the newly opened San Fran Steak House. the place was not as what i thought it is. not like the normal San Fran here. but it was ok, live music and all.

anyway, previously i used to say that i hope we'll have six months to ourselves to adjust to the new life before thinking about having a baby. :)

rasa macam x percaya pon ada jugak. kejap je, dah 6 bulan kawin. dah 6 bulan sharing our lives together. tears and laughters...

still feels like a dream..

Taxi/cab guide in Kuala Lumpur

Since i no longer have a car, when hubster is not around, i always have to use the public transport (lrt, commuter, bus, taxi). before i got married, my usual transportation from office to my sister's house would be lrt and taxi/cab (it's the same to me). almost everyday i had to take taxi from the lrt station to my sister's house because there is no other transportation available to get there.

now, whenever hubster is not around, or have meetings outside kl, i have to take the commuter from shah alam to kl central, and take the lrt from kl central to klcc. going back, it's the reverse of that plus taxi from commuter station to our house.

sometimes i'll take a taxi from klcc to dutamas (hubster's office) if i don't want to wait in klcc esp when hubster needs to stay back or when the traffic coming into kl is bad. these cabs are the one that i want to highlight. if you're used to the cabs or taxi in kl, you'll know that there are several types of cabs here. there's budget cabs ( those in red & white/orange/green/yellow colour) and the executive cab (the blue cabs). the budget taxi are those using mostly Proton cars (wira/iswara/the old saga) while the blue cab are those using KIA cars.

there's a huge difference between the two. Apart from the comfort factor, the most obvious difference would be on the charges. for the budget cab, you'll be charged RM3.00 once you enter the cab, then the meter will increased RM0.10 for every few meters (i'm not sure the exact meters/mins) the meter will still run if the taxi/cab is not moving (in traffic jam). as for the blue cab, you'll be charged RM6.00 once you enter the cab and the meter will increased RM0.20 each time. clearly the charges for the blue cab is double from the budget. but of course the blue cabs are more comfortable and smell nicer. if you rarely have to opt for taxi, it will be ok to take those blue cab, but as a regular, the blue cab will definitely burn a big hole in your pocket.

the average amount that i have to pay for a bdget cab from klcc to Dutamas would be around RM11.00 - RM15.00 depending on the traffic. it rarely touch RM20 unless if the traffic is reeeeeaaaallllyyy bad. but for the blue cab, i've never paid lower than RM 23.00 for the same journey. once i was charged RM52.00 because there was a reaaalllyyy bad traffic and we had to detour due to road closure (i cursed the police for closing the road!) can you imagine how much i had to spend for taxi if i had to take it everyday? luckily i don't have to do that often. (thanked god for that)

anyway, another important thing to share is, there's a lot of budget cabs in klcc. however, you have to be extra careful as most of them do not use meter. they'll just quote you ridiculous rate and force you to agree. luckily, nowadays there is a company managing the taxi/cabs at klcc. there are a few counters for taxi/cab at each entrance to klcc. mind you, there is a surcharge of RM2.00 if you go through the counter. but it is guaranteed that you will get a taxi which uses meter. you'll also get a receipt with the taxi number on it. this is very helpful if you accidently left your belongings in the taxi. you can just call the number on the receipt and ask their assistance to check for you. but this is also depending on your luck. owh, i forgot to mention, if you want a budget cab, u need to inform the person at the counter. if not, they'll give you the blue cab (if you don't mind or in a hurry, then it's ok).

i guess that's all for now. hope the above is beneficial to you. :)

nothing important

setiap org ada kehendak and kemahuan sendiri, ada cara sendiri and kerenah sendiri. semalam Hali suh tgk kat youtube video perempuan gaduh ngan bf dalam lrt tu (on hp la). ya allah, sumpah terkejut tgk video tu.x tau mcm mna boleh sampai mcm tu. malu sgt! hopefully both of them da ok and that girl xkn gaduh jerit2 mcm tu lagi dah. Amin..

bila tgk video tu and after Wawa citer pasal kejadian dlm komuter (pasal bf gf gaduh on phone jugak), terfikir, mcm2 kerenah org sekarang ni.
ada yg gaduh sbb rasa x cukup attention, ada yg gaduh sbb rimas terlebih attention. yg pelik tu, usually, mmg slalu cmtu. sorang sgt caring and the other x kisah sgt.. but kalau dis jebis yg "pape la"..x bermaksud dia x caring kn?

i used to be so heartless. x berperasaan. mcm "suke hati kau la nk buat ape pon". but somehow, now i've changed. now nak jugak la rasa ada org amik berat and risaukn diri ni. nak jugak org call or msg tanya kat mana dah bila naik public transport sorang2 mlm2. tp yg peliknye, cuma nk sorang je yg buat mcm tu. bila org lain yg tanya, ok jugak, tp x la rasa terharu mcm kalau yg sorang tu tanya.

tp tu la, org lain2 kan. semua ada cara masing2. yg penting kn saling memahami.
