Nikah Outfit -Lagenda

kisah baju nikah saya...

actually we found the shop by accident. earlier this month, tiba2 both of us decided to dedicate one day to do all the wedding stuffs. so we went to pick up the doorgift for ladies in KL, bought kain for Mr. D's nikah outfit + songket (after a very2 long and tough negotiation with the owner we managed to get the price we wanted for the songket [sampin]) then i managed to persuade Mr. D to go to Maju Junction. initially i wanted to go to Gavy. konon2 nk tempah kasut kat situ. but because org yg sepatutnye jumpa kat Gavy x de, so we wondered around the area.

kat belakang Gavy nampak satu bridal outfit shop yg nampak sgt cantik & menarik..Mr. D pon mcm impressed..so we went there, take a look at the dresses and honestly i fell in love with the place. the designer/tailor (Mr Oscar jeprey) was there to entertain us.

the next day, we made up our mind and decided to have our nikah outfit done there. so we went again to Lagenda and discuss2 with Oscar, measure2..and pray that out outfit will look nice..

after a while tibe2 terjumpa blog Mrs Sarah (Bridal Supernova). dia pun buat baju kat Oscar!! i love her outfit and veil..and sgt excited coz her review on Oscar was very2 good! oh, legenye.. :)

hopefully our outfit will turn out very2 nice like hers.. :)

tentang decor

saya sanagt suka Chenta Wedding!

decor by Sarah is just amazing..simple yet so sweet & stylish..sangat suka!! email her to do decor for my wedding, unfortunately, because my wedding will be in perak, they have to charge for transportation. i understand the need to charge for that, but bila add up, rasa macam over budget plak..so, in the end decided to just DIY..x tau lah boleh jadi ke tak..but, is still considering to hire them for my reception..kene pujuk Mr D ni!! hehehe..excited!

anyway, these are the adorabe decorations by Chenta wedding..sangat chantik ok!

massive update

Dah lama x jenguk blog ni..ok,things to update..
Card is supposed to be ready by 20th which was last week..but due to some unforseen circumstances, sampai now x siap lagi..hopefully b4 november boleh dapat..tolonglah siap by this weekend..kalau x, mesti mak n bapak marah..takut x sempat nk bg kat org..

Pelamin pon dah pegi choose..honestly I don't really like it, but I couldn't find one that I like there..menyesal plak pegi book kat situ..now dah no turning back..terpaksa go with apa yg they have.

As for baju sandingn sama je situation..I don't like anythere there..semua nampk too indonesian..sama je design dia..nk sewa tempat lain plak mcm rugi cz dah byar deposit for the package..so,still x choose lagi baju..mcm nk gila dah ni..

N I don't like the makeup thre too..kesimpulannye I don't like anytjing there..maybe I'm being too choosy..but it's my wedding..I'm supposed to have it the way I like kn?

As for doorgift, for ladies dah dapat dah..payment dah settle..for guys dah paid 50 percent deposit, now praying hard dia bleh siapkan and deliver b4 december..doorgift for vip x pilih lagi..for kids dah booked..

Baju nikah x siap lagi..1st fitting pon blom..kasut n tudung n veil for nikah pon x carik lagi..makeup pon blom..

Reception makeup n dress x carik lagi..I think I'm going to book lova for the makeup..hope dia still free lagi..

Have to go and tempah cincin for mr d by this week..

B2B talk

this week asyik lepak ngan b2b lain kat office and talk about wedding preps je..i will never get tired talking about it, eventhough sebenarnye dah freakout to the max sbb byk lagi benda x settle. one of my colleague asked yesterday "u da jadi bridezilla ke blom?" and i answered "dah berkali2 jadi bridezilla yg mmg x dpt dicontrol" hahaha..

kelakar bila lepak n share stories..yg nk bertunang this weekend pon dah mcm bridezilla..tu belom nk kawin nti..

byk benda nk update sebenarnye..nk nak tukar template buruk ni, tp x de masa nk buat lagi..tersangatlah busy at the moment..letihnye!

My Nikah Outfit

after months of surveying and difficulty in deciding, my nikah outfit is finally on the way. by 'on the way' i mean, sent to the designer. for months i was really hoping i could sent it to my ultimate favorite designer, Syomir Izwa, or 'Syahrir Nurdin'. but lastly i decided to send it to Oscar Jeprey (Lagenda) instead. i really2 really REALLY love this design by Syomir Izwa.

cantik kn? simple but so elegant and sweet. Love it!! sadly, my outfit will not look like this. i'll have a simple kurung moden with a chiffon long skirt. Dear Oscar, please make my outfit pretty!!

anyway, i heard Mr Syomir Izwa just opened his new boutique at Solaris Dutamas. seronoknye!! dekat Mr. D's office. now i have more reasons to go there. hehehe..will definitely go and check it out! still considering to upah for reception. (eventho i seriously feels like it will be a waste coz nti xkn guna dah) doesn't matter, i will still go and visit his new place.

so far x decide lagi nak amik which one for my reception nti. mula2 dah confirm nk amik emma pesona, tapi bila tanya date, dia dah ada org book for majlis nikah on the date. sedih. now maybe go for nurin or Lova. Lova still free, Nurin x tanya lagi.

mind u, ada yg quote above RM1k tau. so, it depends on your budget and preference. ada yg suka artist A punye style, ada yg tak..so, it depends. cuba browse through their blogs/website/photopage tgk their work dulu. Or book for tryout dulu. for dinner or function ke. After that baru decide.

The Story of My Engagement..

i know i've been engaged for almost a year now. tp saya sedar still ada org yg terasa sebab tak di'inform' and x dijemput ke majlis pertunangan sy dulu. i owe an explanation to that.

macam ni citenye..sepatutnye yg dirancang bukanlah majlis pertunangan.cuma sekadar merisik. tapi last2 family Mr D decide nk tunang terus untuk memudahkan semua. decision nk tunang dibuat sehari sebelum hari yg sepatutnye. bayangkanlah betapa kelam kabutnya sy time tu. tiket balik x beli lagi, baju, cincin, semua benda x prepare. pegi office pon mcm org gila sbb asyik pk kn engagement the next day. mmg sy x sempat bgtau semua org. sy cuma bgtau sofia, chetd, yan, nadia & tammy je.

sy & Mr D pegi beli cincin after office hour. the only branch yg ada cincin size sy tutup pukul 7mlm. time kuar office dah dekat pukul 6, jln jam lagi. alhamdulillah, nasib baik sempat. ptg tu jugak kakak sy agree nk balik sekali. asalnya dia x bleh balik cz ada program lain. nasib baik la dia sanggup tukar plan sbb tau sy x sempat nk beli tiket. so, bertolak mlm tu and sampai umah around 1.30am.

time tu mak tgh sibuk2 buat her signature yam pudding/jelly for hantaran, and yana tengah kelam kabut buat raspberry cheese tart/cake yg sampai hari ni still org puji. rasa bersalah tgk my family semua kelam kabut. pagi esoknye, sy & kakak (tgh preggy) kuar cari barang for hantaran. yeap, on the day itself. nasib baik la hari tu hari jumaat. so, both families agree to have the majlis after solat jumaat. around kul 1 cmtu, ktorg balik with the hantaran stuff and brg2 nk deco the hantaran. DIY tau semua! at the same time my friends from kl sampai. rombongn family Mr. D pon dah sampai kt nearby masjid. sy kuar g culik adik Mr D sbb dia agree tuk makeup kn sy (nasib baik la dia mmg buat bridal makeup).

balik umah kelam kabut mandi n siap2 semua. kul 2.30 org nk sampai rumah, kul 1.30 sy dok lari2 tgk brg n siap ape pon lg..hehehe..baju yg sy pakai time tunang is my sister's nikah outfit (nasib baik same size). alhamdulillah..allah mudahkan & lancarkan majlis. walaupon last minit dan kelam kabut, bg saya, majlis tu ringkas tapi sweet..
